I can recall our families summer visits to my Uncle Joe & Aunty Mildred Wittmans farm in Rockglen well over 40 years ago. It was magical to me back then as a young child and looking at your photo's now it brings back some old memories. My Uncle Joe passed away this week at the age of 89. Perhaps a trip down memory is in order. Thanks for the memories! |

| My father was part of the Grant family which homesteaded in the area beginning 1910, Grants Beach (name changed since) at Fife Lake was operated by them. I think of the hardships of pioneer life in those days. | |
