| My father was part of the Grant family which homesteaded in the area beginning 1910, Grants Beach (name changed since) at Fife Lake was operated by them. I think of the hardships of pioneer life in those days. | |

| Love the site! Both my Mom(Donna) and Dad(John)were from there, I was born there and spent endless summers climbing Columbus and exploring the Yost valley and the hills beyond Columbus. We still have a few relitives there, I'd like to say Hi to the Jepson's & Griffin's. C U soon! | |
