2010 Arts in the Park
Once again Arts in the Park proved that the talent in the area is vast.
The event got underway with the judging of the Student Photo Competition. Judges Jay and Karlie Kimball and Wanda Knoss had some tough decisions to make as there were some great photographs by talented up and coming photographers.
Students of Sandra Knoss’s Sketching class learned a number of drawing skills. (You can learn more about Sandra on Facebook).
Sandra Lamontagne taught the basics of Mosaics as her students completed a Mosaic Coaster.
Multi talented artist, Sandra Lamontagne also taught a Watercolor class. Those taking the class painted a Treescape. Their finished work was impressive. www.slamontagne.com

As the event was winding down a 57 Chevy (owned by Merv Barnes) drove up. The car was occupied with ‘Elvis’ (aka Les Wilcock) and his Entourage. ‘Elvis’ proceeded to entertain as he sang several of his songs and interacted with the crowd. His performance was enjoyed by all.
It was a fabulous finale to a great day.
See you in 2011
